SOC Analyst – Onsite Shift Role in Chandler, AZ

About the role

Join a client‑site security operations team in Chandler, AZ as a SOC Analyst. You will work rotating shifts, including overnight hours, to monitor and protect the network against threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network traffic, IDS alerts, security events and logs.
• Prioritize potential intrusion attempts and filter false alarms.
• Develop, maintain, and follow SOC Standard Operating Procedures.
• Produce daily and monthly situation reports per shift.
• Analyze large data sets to identify anomalous activity.
• Create detective content for IDS and SIEM platforms and recommend proactive blocks.
• Track security investigations to resolution and compose alert notifications.
• Advise incident responders on investigation steps and stay current on vulnerabilities and attack techniques.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with an active Secret Clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CompTIA CySA+ certification, plus a DOD 8570‑approved certification within six months of hire.
• Ability to work a shift schedule and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
