SOC Analyst – 24/7 Security Operations Center

About the role

We are seeking a SOC Analyst to join a fast‑paced, 24/7 Security Operations Center in the United States. The analyst will monitor security events, investigate suspicious activity and support real‑time incident response for client networks and systems.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze alerts using SIEM, XDR and EDR platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, LogRhythm, AlienVault/LevelBlue and CrowdStrike.
• Perform initial triage, root‑cause analysis and escalation of security incidents.
• Collaborate with SOC team members to validate alerts and coordinate response actions.
• Document findings, provide remediation guidance and communicate results to clients.
• Stay current on threat intelligence, attack techniques and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Contribute to the improvement of detection rules and SOC processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field (preferred).
• Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnetting, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS).
• Basic knowledge of malware behavior, reconnaissance and command‑and‑control tactics.
• Strong analytical abilities and clear written communication.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts in a 24/7 environment and to continuously learn.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM/XDR/EDR tools: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, LogRhythm, AlienVault/LevelBlue, CrowdStrike.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Understanding of networking protocols and services.
