Sleepwear Designer (Hybrid, NYC)

About the role

Rose International is seeking an experienced Sleepwear Designer to join its consumer‑goods team in Manhattan. This hybrid position requires 2‑3 days onsite per week and focuses on creating commercially viable sleepwear collections that align with brand strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop seasonal sleepwear designs with emphasis on style, fit, and fabric.
• Produce design sketches, prototypes, and detailed tech packs.
• Adapt concepts based on feedback and finalize specifications.
• Collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and cross‑functional partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Stay current on fashion trends, competitor research, and consumer insights.

Required profile

• 4+ years of design experience in a retail or consumer‑goods environment.
• Prior work on sleep constructions and understanding of female body silhouette.
• Strong commercial fashion eye and attention to product styling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
