Site Director of Security for High‑Rise Commercial Building

About the role

Marksman Security seeks an experienced security professional to serve as Site Director of Security for a flagship high‑rise commercial office building in Houston. The role combines leadership, technical oversight, and partnership with property management to ensure a safe, secure, and state‑of‑the‑art environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security operations for a high‑traffic commercial office building.
• Participate in weekly operational strategy meetings with Property Management.
• Maintain and troubleshoot DSX Access Control and exacqVision/Axis surveillance systems.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and fire drills with Rosemont Public Service.
• Manage site budgets and Capital Expenditure requests to keep the facility technologically current.
• Promote professional growth through continuous staff training and development.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing security for commercial high‑rise properties.
• Strong technical aptitude with expertise in Microsoft Office and modern VMS/Access Control platforms.
• Safety‑first mindset and deep understanding of fire control systems.
• Exceptional relationship‑building skills for effective client and vendor management.
