SharePoint Specialist (Information Security Governance)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented SharePoint Specialist to support our Information Security organization. You will design, maintain, and govern SharePoint sites that host security policies, procedures, audit evidence, and RFP responses, ensuring they are version‑controlled, accessible, and audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain structured SharePoint sites for security governance documentation.
• Organize centralized repositories for policies, standards, audit evidence, and compliance artifacts.
• Implement version control, lifecycle management, and approval workflows.
• Support teams in keeping documentation aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA and other frameworks.
• Maintain audit‑evidence libraries and ensure readiness for internal and external audits.
• Manage content libraries for RFP and security questionnaire responses.
• Configure access controls, permissions, and security settings in line with IAM policies.
• Develop workflows and automations using SharePoint, Power Automate, and related Microsoft 365 tools.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Compliance, IT, Legal, and Audit teams.
• Continuously improve taxonomy, knowledge organization, and provide training on SharePoint usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in SharePoint administration, documentation or knowledge management.
• Strong understanding of SharePoint Online or SharePoint Server.
• Familiarity with Information Security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
