Service Technician – Palm Court

About the role

The Service Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Palm Court property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This hands‑on role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and supporting the overall upkeep of the community.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing defects and repairing them according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
• Familiarity with property‑maintenance tools and equipment.
• Attention to detail in documentation and inventory management.
