About the role
Join Johnson & Johnson’s Auris Health team in Santa Clara as a Service Repair Technician focused on flexible robotics. You will service and repair advanced robotic platforms used in surgical settings, ensuring high system uptime and compliance with quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Repair and test electronic and mechanical components of robotic platforms, following test process instructions and logging data.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and complaint teams to identify root causes of failures and document findings.
- Set up and maintain functional test stations, install software/firmware, and verify system performance.
- Maintain inventory, tools, and certified test equipment for the Service Repair Depot.
- Support quality system compliance by following GMP, GDP, and QMS procedures and creating required records.
Required profile
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in service repair of flexible robotics or a closely related role.
- Experience with medical device quality testing and product lifecycle management.
Required skills
- Configuring computer hardware and software.
- Jira, MES, SharePoint, JAMA, Air Table, Agile PLM.
- SAP.
- Robotic platforms testing and repairing.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
- Installation, replacement, and functional testing of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components on robotic tables.
- Software/firmware installation, configuration, and verification for table control systems.
- Table calibration, control swaps, and full operational testing.
- Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
