Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations

About the role

Cambium is seeking a senior executive to lead and expand its supply chain across millwork, mass timber, and furniture segments. The SVP will oversee a national network of suppliers, production hubs, and third‑party partners, translating strategy into execution.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute fulfillment strategy for wood offerings across vertically integrated hubs and partner networks.
• Provide strategic leadership on SKU architecture, pricing, product development, and market entry.
• Ensure operational excellence by establishing quality control, standardizing production efficiencies, and managing staffing.
• Oversee national logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations to balance speed and cost‑to‑serve.
• Implement systems and processes that scale supply‑chain efficiency and improve core fulfillment metrics.

Required profile

• 12+ years of leadership in supply chain or operations, with proven high‑growth scale‑up experience, preferably in wood or building‑materials manufacturing.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and translate operational constraints into strategic narratives for senior leadership.
• Experience managing high‑performing fulfillment teams across multiple geographic sites, both internal and external.
• Strong operational and financial rigor, using data and real‑time dashboards to drive performance improvements.
• Expertise establishing QA/QC protocols (Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) that reduce waste and re‑work.
