About the role

The Senior Vice President, Growth leads KIPP’s network‑wide growth strategy, ensuring every expansion decision is evidence‑based and aligned with the organization’s mission. This executive role shapes the long‑term portfolio plan, oversees readiness frameworks, and holds the network accountable for rigorous, data‑driven growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define vision, goals, and strategic roadmap for KIPP’s growth function across the national network.
• Develop and steward criteria and readiness frameworks that determine where and how new schools or regions should be launched.
• Shape the long‑term portfolio plan, balancing expansion opportunities with resource capacity.
• Ensure all growth decisions—new schools, regional expansions, and scaling initiatives—are grounded in robust evidence and data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to align growth initiatives with educational outcomes and equity goals.
• Monitor and report on growth performance, adjusting strategies to meet rigorous accountability standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in education, nonprofit, or related growth strategy roles.
• Strong track record of designing and executing evidence‑based expansion plans.
• Exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to translate data into actionable growth decisions.
• Experience working across large, distributed networks and influencing cross‑functional teams.
