Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

Krohn, Watters & Hicks, LLP is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its San Francisco office. This full‑time, hybrid position combines tax compliance, preparation, and client consulting for closely‑held businesses and high‑net‑worth individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, and individuals.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Provide tax planning and consulting services to help clients achieve financial objectives.
• Analyze complex financial transactions and advise on tax implications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support broader accounting and advisory projects.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in tax compliance and preparation.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
