Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems & Cloud Engineer to join our remote team supporting a wide range of infrastructure, networking, server, virtualization and cloud environments. The role is hands‑on, focused on troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring reliable operation for US‑based clients while working US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex server and network problems, including TCP/IP, subnetting, VPN, VLAN and routing issues.
• Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory and Microsoft 365/O365 services.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Support and troubleshoot Azure cloud services and on‑premise infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and administration.
• Maintain backup technologies and data‑center infrastructure.
• Document solutions, identify root causes and implement effective fixes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and US clients, taking ownership from diagnosis through resolution.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with network and server troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VPNs, VLANs and routing.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/O365 and Azure.
• Proficiency with VMware or Hyper‑V virtualization platforms.
• Good PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Ability to work independently on US business hours and communicate effectively.
