Senior Supplier Engineer – Ultrasound

About the role

The Senior Supplier Engineer – Ultrasound drives supplier performance and continuous improvement for Philips’ ultrasound products. You will apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) throughout the product lifecycle, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with R&D and suppliers to deliver high‑quality medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Assess technical capability of new suppliers and support supplier selection.
• Develop, execute, and monitor APQP plans for new product introductions.
• Conduct and review DFMAT, SAF, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, PV&V, FAI, LRA, and SICR.
• Maintain Critical to Safety/Quality (CtS/Q) characteristics and manage Part Submission Warrant activities.
• Lead supplier improvement initiatives, corrective action reviews, and updates to the Approved Supplier List.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of supplier engineering experience in regulated environments, preferably medical devices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field; ASQ or Six Sigma/DfX certifications desired.
• Strong knowledge of 21 CFR Parts 803, 806, 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, EU MDR and other medical‑device regulations.
• Proven ability to use data analytics and KPIs to evaluate supplier performance.
