Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager

About the role

The Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, Technology Sourcing, is an experienced individual contributor who leads category strategy and sourcing execution for Autodesk’s global technology portfolio, focusing on software, infrastructure and professional services. Reporting to the Director of Technology Sourcing, the role partners with senior business, finance and legal leaders to deliver cost‑effective, flexible sourcing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end category strategy for software, infrastructure and technology professional services.
• Develop multi‑year strategies aligned with business objectives and financial goals.
• Monitor market trends and translate insights into sourcing tactics.
• Lead complex global RFPs, negotiations and supplier evaluations focused on total value, risk and scalability.
• Design innovative commercial models such as SaaS consumption, retainer, managed services, blended pricing and outcome‑based pricing.
• Partner with Legal and Finance to structure master agreements and statements of work.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders, influencing sourcing priorities and governance.
• Drive supplier consolidation, preferred‑supplier frameworks and strategic relationship management.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in strategic sourcing or procurement within technology categories.
• Strong consultative and influencing skills with senior business, finance and legal stakeholders.
• Ability to balance speed, flexibility, service quality and cost effectiveness.
• Experience managing global sourcing programs and cross‑functional teams.
