Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager

About the role

Plug is an automotive fintech startup building a dedicated marketplace for used electric vehicles. As a Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager you will lead and expand the core partnerships that fuel both supply and demand on the platform, working directly with the Head of Partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of high‑impact partners—including consumer marketplaces, dealer groups, fleets, rental companies and OEMs—from strategy through execution.
• Develop and implement partnership plans that increase vehicle supply, dealer demand, transaction speed, margin, or strategic positioning.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams in Operations, Sales, Product and Finance to deliver partnership objectives and measurable results.
• Monitor partnership performance, negotiate terms, and drive continuous growth of each program.
• Represent Plug in external negotiations and act as the internal champion for partnership success.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with a proven track record of building and scaling strategic partnerships, preferably in automotive, electric‑vehicle or fintech marketplaces.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive partnership decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the capacity to work autonomously in a fast‑moving environment.
