Senior Staff Deployment Strategist, Operations

About the role

ALSO is building a vertically integrated electric‑vehicle operation and needs a senior strategist to design and implement the end‑to‑end operating system that moves vehicles from contract manufacturers to customers. You will turn spreadsheet‑based processes into scalable, data‑driven systems that provide real‑time visibility and decision‑making across supply chain, manufacturing, quality, finance and commercial functions.

Key responsibilities

• Build end‑to‑end visibility from factory to customer, including work‑in‑process, first‑pass yield, genealogy, inventory, and shipment status.
• Design and operate a planning engine for material planning, available‑to‑promise, and build/fulfillment queues across both outsourced and in‑house production.
• Manage the supplier loop: purchase‑order confirmations, promise dates, RFQs, design changes, forecasts, and component pricing.
• Coordinate physical moves: booking, importation, track‑and‑trace from contract manufacturers through 3PLs to the customer.
• Close the quality loop by tracking incoming and inline quality, deviations, warranty claims, and supplier chargebacks.
• Prototype thin, disposable applications to evaluate buy‑versus‑build decisions and automate proven processes.
• Instrument existing workflows, eliminate unnecessary steps, and automate the remaining streamlined process.
• Collaborate with process owners to embed automation and enable them to modify solutions independently.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with a track record of influencing cross‑functional teams through architecture and code.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate complex operational data into actionable systems.
• Experience working closely with supply‑chain, manufacturing, quality, finance, and commercial stakeholders.
• Self‑starter who can lead without direct reports, driving change through influence and technical expertise.
