Senior Specialist - Animal Welfare Member Engagement

About the role

As a Senior Specialist in Animal Welfare Member Engagement, you will ensure an exceptional experience for Petfinder members throughout their journey—from onboarding to ongoing retention. You will combine scalable self‑service tools with high‑touch support to help members succeed and view Petfinder as a critical part of their mission.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Marketing teams to identify opportunities that increase member engagement, platform adoption and connection to the broader Purina ecosystem.
• Serve as an escalation partner on complex member registration, quality and outreach situations.
• Develop and deliver member education initiatives such as webinars, conferences, training materials and support resources.
• Identify recurring member pain points, support process improvements and address trends impacting satisfaction and retention.
• Utilize reporting tools to monitor engagement trends and cultivate deep expertise in the animal welfare ecosystem.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of experience in customer success, member engagement, account management, nonprofit relations or marketing.
• Passion for animal welfare (preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs require.
