Senior Software Engineer, Trust Platform

About the role

Credit Genie is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Trust Platform team. You will help build the core backend services that protect users, detect fraud, and deliver secure, personalized financial experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and scale high‑performance backend systems that power fraud detection, authentication, decisioning, and customer data.
• Lead greenfield projects such as new fraud‑signal pipelines, unified notification services, and intelligent decisioning layers.
• Collaborate with product, design, data science, and mobile teams to create trust‑and‑safety features that balance risk management with a seamless user experience.
• Drive technical discussions, set best practices for system design, coding, testing, and DevOps across the fraud and authentication domains.
• Innovate customer‑focused solutions that keep interactions secure, personalized, and trustworthy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling backend systems in fast‑growth environments.
• Proven expertise in architecting large‑scale distributed systems.
• Comfortable working across multiple technical areas and partnering with frontend/mobile teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, ability to break down complex systems, and deliver secure, maintainable solutions.
• Thrives in an iterative, fast‑moving setting with a bias for action.
