Senior RF Validation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior RF Validation Engineer to lead the development of scalable RF validation and production test infrastructure, from prototype bring‑up through manufacturing ramp. You will turn ambiguous hardware behavior into clear measurements, actionable debug plans, and data‑driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute RF validation and characterization plans for radar and connectivity prototypes, engineering builds, and production‑intent hardware.
• Perform systematic RF debug and root‑cause analysis for issues such as coexistence, leakage, blockers, desense, nonlinearities, compression, spurs, harmonics, reciprocal mixing, and noise coupling.
• Build RF budgets, compliance matrices, and concise summaries linking measured behavior to product requirements.
• Design, validate, and optimize RF test flows for manufacturing, including calibration, limits, guard‑bands, and pass/fail criteria.
• Support EVT, DVT, PVT, pilot builds, and ramp‑up with yield analysis and issue resolution.
• Partner with contract manufacturers and operations to improve test coverage, cycle time, repeatability, and troubleshooting efficiency.
• Automate lab and production measurements using calibrated RF instrumentation (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
• Collect structured datasets, analyze trends, and apply statistical methods to set limits and identify outliers.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in RF systems validation or manufacturing test, preferably with radar or wireless connectivity hardware.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate hardware anomalies into clear, actionable data.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and external manufacturers.
