Senior Program Coordinator, DNP/PhD

About the role

The Senior Program Coordinator supports the Berkley School of Nursing by overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the Doctor of Nursing Practice and PhD programs. This position ensures smooth academic and administrative processes while serving as a key liaison among faculty, students, alumni, and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of academic and administrative programs, maintaining attention to detail and timely communication.
• Organize and manage program‑related events, handling logistics, outreach, and participant engagement.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain program data; prepare reports and presentations for directors.
• Create visually appealing program materials and documents for internal and external audiences.
• Serve as the central communication point for faculty, students, alumni, and stakeholders.
• Report to the Senior Program Manager and provide administrative support to program directors.
• Collaborate with distance‑learning vendors, simulation lab coordinators, admissions, and student academic affairs.
• Supervise student workers and work independently on assigned tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of relevant experience (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in an academic or non‑profit environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
