Senior Okta Solutions Consultant

About the role

Semperis is seeking a Senior Okta Solutions Consultant to join its Professional Services team. The role focuses on helping customers prepare for, respond to, and recover from security incidents involving Okta and other identity providers. You will work closely with customers, internal research, and engineering teams to improve identity security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Assess Okta configurations from a cybersecurity perspective and develop remediation strategies.
• Guide customers through remediation plans, communicating with both technical staff and stakeholders.
• Support the Identity Forensics team with assessment methodologies and tools for vulnerability and incident response engagements.
• Collaborate with the Research team to uncover and disclose Okta weaknesses, creating Indicators of Exposure and remediation guidance.
• Develop roadmaps to elevate customers’ Okta security posture or migrate to alternative IDPs such as Entra ID.
• Perform comprehensive security assessments, including operational reviews, configuration reviews, and attack‑path analysis of Okta tenant environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Okta and Identity and Access Management, either offensive or defensive.
• Proven experience delivering professional services consulting in Okta environments; experience with Entra/Active Directory or PingOne is a plus.
• Strong customer‑facing orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
