Senior Manager, Customs Compliance & International Logistics

About the role

Ocean Spray is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its global transportation, customs compliance, and international trade operations. This hybrid role, based at the corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA, focuses on ensuring cost‑effective, reliable, and compliant movement of goods across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global transportation and trade compliance strategies aligned with service, inventory, and financial goals.
• Lead ocean freight operations, managing carrier relationships, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Oversee customs brokerage activities, including tariff classification, valuation, duty payments, and documentation.
• Identify duty‑optimization opportunities through FTAs, drawback programs, and First Sale initiatives.
• Manage supply‑chain security programs such as C‑TPAT and conduct risk assessments.
• Monitor KPIs, scorecards, and business reviews to drive continuous improvement in cost, service, and compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of supply‑chain experience with international exposure.
• Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university education.
• Proven leadership, collaboration, and influencing abilities.

Required skills

• Customs brokerage and trade compliance expertise.
• Tariff classification (HTS) and customs valuation.
• C‑TPAT security and risk‑management knowledge.
• Negotiation and contract management with logistics providers.
