Senior Legal Ops Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented Senior Legal Ops Specialist to review, prepare and coordinate commercial contracts and waiver documentation for the US market. This fully remote position sits at the intersection of legal analysis, operations and AI‑driven workflows, giving you direct exposure to real business decisions and contract risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Review B2B commercial contracts, identify risk clauses, inconsistencies and ambiguous wording, and prepare structured comments and suggested revisions.
• Manage multiple negotiation and revision cycles, ensuring documents are ready for final executive review.
• Analyze conditional and unconditional waivers, verify project data, financial figures and legal logic, and flag risks for approval or correction.
• Coordinate document review workflows in ClickUp or similar systems, tracking stages, versions and status updates.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for issue spotting, redlining, document comparison and summarisation, while validating and refining outputs manually.
• Prepare structured materials for external counsel and support internal teams on dispute, mediation, landlord, trademark and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Degree in Law with at least 5 years of experience in contract review, legal support or legal operations.
• Proven ability to work independently on high‑volume B2B contract reviews and to stand firm during difficult negotiations.
• Fluent in English and Russian (minimum C1 level).
• Experience supporting external lawyers and handling cross‑functional legal issues.
• Strong analytical thinking, precision and accountability in repetitive, high‑impact document work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) and prompt engineering for contract analysis.
• Experience using ClickUp or comparable workflow management platforms.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word / Google Docs, including tracked changes, commenting and PDF version control.
