Senior Inventory Manager – Global Supply Chain

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a World‑Wide Senior Inventory Manager for its Surgery business. The role leads global inventory planning, ensuring optimal stock levels while supporting patient safety and business targets. It involves close collaboration with regional planning, supply network, and product logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute worldwide inventory strategic and business planning processes.
• Manage inventory commit and projection processes across all locations.
• Lead inventory optimization programs and deploy best‑in‑class inventory management practices.
• Train supply‑chain teams on inventory principles and develop KPIs to monitor performance.
• Analyze new product introductions and lifecycle events to improve inventory planning.
• Collaborate across regions and functions to align programs and priorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of operations experience in planning, logistics, inventory control or procurement.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Leadership experience with proven ability to manage teams.
• Fluency in English and excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% domestically and internationally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP, MRP, APS and DP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel and other MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Experience with inventory management, optimization and supply‑chain planning.
• APICS certification (highly preferred) and Process Excellence certification (highly preferred).
