Senior HR Business Partner – People & Communications

About the role

Anthropic is seeking a senior HR Business Partner to support its People organization, including Recruiting, and its Communications team. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping HR policies and strategies that enable the company’s mission of building safe, beneficial AI.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and advise leaders across People and Communications, including senior executives.
• Provide HR guidance to employees and managers throughout their lifecycle, collaborating with Benefits, Compensation, and other specialists.
• Partner with management to foster a high‑performance culture aligned with Anthropic’s values.
• Liaise with specialist teams, leadership, and finance to implement scalable talent programs.
• Lead cross‑functional HR projects such as manager training and organizational design.
• Support G&A leadership with workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development.

Required profile

• Experience in HR at a fast‑growing tech company, with strong knowledge of North American employment law.
• Background in supporting G&A functions in high‑growth environments.
• 8+ years in HR Business Partnering, People Operations, Employee Relations, or related fields.
• Proven ability to partner with People and Communications teams in high‑growth tech settings.
• Experience in regulated or compliance‑focused environments is a plus.
