Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Hybrid, SF Bay Area)

About the role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial senior full‑stack engineer to join Brico’s early founding team. You will work across front‑end and back‑end, building a licensing compliance platform that aims to make licensing faster, cheaper and more enjoyable for financial‑service innovators.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality web applications with a strong focus on user experience.
• Architect, design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems that power the licensing platform.
• Integrate third‑party large language models (LLMs) to add intelligent features and enhance product functionality.
• Contribute to overall system architecture and drive engineering excellence across the team.
• Conduct code reviews, implement testing protocols, and ensure high‑quality software delivery.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge within the organization.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of full‑stack software development experience.
• High agency and ability to ship high‑quality output at rapid velocity.
• Strong communication skills and a track record of delivering customer‑facing projects.
• Exceptional problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and comfort in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment.
• Desire to learn and integrate AI‑driven features; experience in a B2B high‑growth SaaS company is a plus.
