Senior Field Service Manager

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Senior Field Service Manager to shape and execute growth strategies for its Field Services organization, optimizing performance across multiple territories and product lines. The role combines operational leadership, commercial acumen, and customer‑focused service delivery in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Secure a strong QHSE culture within the Field Service organization.
• Manage and develop capabilities needed to support the overall service strategy.
• Identify training needs and track field service engineer competence improvement.
• Own the Field Service cost‑center forecast, investments and financial results.
• Support proactive service sales through lead generation in collaboration with service sales.
• Ensure jobs are executed according to internal and external customer relationships.
• Lead remote teams, providing direction and maintaining a customer‑oriented mindset.
• Implement continuous efficiency improvements using innovative processes and technologies.
• Drive change management to adapt to new market demands.
• Monitor and act on KPIs to improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of field service or technical operations experience.
• 3+ years of sales experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing managers or large field teams.
• Demonstrated P&L responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of sales and field service management systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 60 % of the time.
