Senior Director, Strategic Finance

About the role

Aidoc is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Finance to act as a strategic and operating partner to company leadership. The role will own planning, forecasting, performance reporting, and high‑impact financial analysis across the business in a remote‑first, R&D‑heavy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual planning, quarterly re‑forecasts, and long‑range planning with a clear cadence and governance model.
• Own the core operating model and related scenario analyses.
• Deliver executive, board, and management reporting with concise narrative and insights.
• Design and operate the end‑to‑end FP&A rhythm, including planning calendar, variance reviews, headcount governance, automation, and data hygiene.
• Support corporate strategic initiatives such as capital planning, M&A analyses, and cross‑functional projects.
• Partner with Accounting, Data, and BI to ensure reliable, decision‑grade financial and operational data.
• Build and develop a high‑performing strategic finance team, hiring and mentoring future finance leaders.

Required profile

• 10+ years in strategic finance, FP&A, or corporate finance, preferably in a high‑growth, R&D‑focused technology company.
• 5+ years of managerial experience building, hiring, and developing finance teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective in a remote, distributed organization.
• High standards, strong ownership, sound judgment under ambiguity, and a pragmatic 80/20 execution mindset.
• Proven track record of designing and running finance processes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead change‑management initiatives with executive buy‑in.
