Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform to join our partner’s team. You will help design, build and operate a modern, scalable data platform while collaborating with application and data engineering groups.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly available, cost‑efficient GCP data infrastructure using services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub and Cloud SQL.
• Develop and manage Terraform configurations for GCP services, networking and deployments.
• Configure and oversee networking components, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules and private service connectivity.
• Create and optimise CI/CD pipelines for data services with a focus on security, quality and performance.
• Implement monitoring, observability and alerting for data pipelines and underlying infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and proactively mitigate risks.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including vulnerability scanning and threat modelling.
• Support GCP migration initiatives by designing scalable and secure solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on GCP.
• Hands‑on experience building and operating data platforms on Google Cloud.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2+).
