Senior Design Engineer – Manifolds & HICs

About the role

As a Senior Design Engineer you will lead the development of hydraulic manifold housings and high‑integrity components (HICs) for Bosch Rexroth. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production, ensuring innovative and reliable solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Fully manage design projects from inception to series production.
• Develop new hydraulic manifold products and improve existing designs.
• Interpret design specifications and translate them into detailed drawings and CAD models.
• Conduct research, prototyping, and engineering documentation.
• Provide cost estimates and drive process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with design, laboratory, purchasing, sales, manufacturing and assembly teams.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineering experience, preferably in hydraulic or mechanical design.
• Degree in Mechanical, Hydraulic or related engineering discipline.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and solve complex design problems.
