Senior Data Engineer/Architect – Databricks

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Data Engineer/Architect to lead the design and implementation of data solutions on Azure and Databricks. You will work within the D2AI team, turning data into intelligent, scalable services that power customer‑facing real‑estate applications used by thousands of residents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and unit‑test database and AI pipeline code using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Databricks, and Azure OpenAI.
• Write and maintain T‑SQL objects such as stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Own end‑to‑end Databricks ingestion and output pipelines for platforms like greystar.com and Microsoft Customer Insights CDP.
• Orchestrate LLM prompts and AI workflow layers.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure reliable and responsible AI solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior data engineer or architect, preferably in a real‑estate or large‑scale consumer environment.
• Strong AI fluency and ability to integrate AI tools into engineering workflows.
• Willingness to provide a short video demonstrating use of AI tools in past projects.
