Senior Data Consultant

About the role

Campana & Schott is seeking a full‑time Senior Data Consultant to join a fast‑moving team in New York. The role spans the entire data spectrum, from building pipelines and models to designing schemas, taxonomies, and overall data architecture. You will act as both a technical expert and a consultant, guiding clients through complex data challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines, models, schemas, and taxonomies for client engagements.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into scalable, sound data solutions.
• Own key data deliverables and ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Partner with clients and stakeholders, communicating clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end consulting engagements, including research, analysis, deliverable creation, and status reporting.
• Help shape and grow a budding team of data engineers and consultants.
• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and Gemini on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Strong background in data analysis, engineering, or architecture.
• Experience moving across the full data lifecycle and delivering end‑to‑end solutions.
• Proven consulting experience managing clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Passion for solving complex data problems and growing expertise.
