Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Architect (Remote – California)

About the role

GigaKOM is seeking a senior‑level Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of cybersecurity architectures for its California‑based clients. This fully remote position works with K‑12 schools, government agencies and commercial organizations to build secure, scalable network, cloud and endpoint solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise‑wide security architectures across network, cloud, identity, endpoint and data layers.
• Define and promote Zero Trust frameworks and reusable security standards.
• Partner with sales and executive stakeholders to shape security strategy, lead discovery workshops and respond to RFPs.
• Present security roadmaps and recommendations to CIOs, CISOs and other senior leaders.
• Provide technical oversight, escalation support and advisory guidance for client deployments.
• Lead typical projects such as Zero Trust implementations, Microsoft security ecosystem roll‑outs, endpoint/XDR deployments and SIEM/SOC architecture.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience designing and delivering cybersecurity solutions for enterprise or public‑sector environments.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive decision‑makers.
• Experience guiding pre‑sales activities, proposal development and competitive positioning.
