Senior Contract Specialist – Procurement & Contracts

About the role

The Construction Services team at Central Plateau Cleanup Company is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to lead procurement activities that support the remediation of the historic Hanford site. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient acquisition of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement actions from pre‑planning through closeout, applying advanced procurement principles.
• Perform complex procurement functions across multiple contract types and evaluate Requests for Equitable Adjustments.
• Prepare and maintain electronic documentation in line with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Administer post‑commitment actions, including routine monetary expenditures and risk assessments.
• Develop and manage Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
• Participate in pre‑procurement planning, lead functional teams, and contribute to procurement tool development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years (Grade 18) or 9+ years (Grade 19) of relevant procurement experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex contract administration and regulatory compliance.
