About the role
The Construction Services team at Central Plateau Cleanup Company is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist to lead procurement activities that support the remediation of the historic Hanford site. This position plays a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient acquisition of goods and services.
Key responsibilities
- Manage procurement actions from pre‑planning through closeout, applying advanced procurement principles.
- Perform complex procurement functions across multiple contract types and evaluate Requests for Equitable Adjustments.
- Prepare and maintain electronic documentation in line with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Administer post‑commitment actions, including routine monetary expenditures and risk assessments.
- Develop and manage Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts.
- Participate in pre‑procurement planning, lead functional teams, and contribute to procurement tool development.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8+ years (Grade 18) or 9+ years (Grade 19) of relevant procurement experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex contract administration and regulatory compliance.
