Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with business owners, understand new opportunities, and translate them into clear business and functional requirements. You will work across the project lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality deliverables that support secure, simple, and smart digital payments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate reviews, revisions, testing, documentation, and member notifications for product enhancements and business opportunities.
• Provide business knowledge and technical support during requirement development.
• Collaborate with developers and requesters to identify data and functional requirements for new or enhanced systems.
• Ensure development objectives are met, user testing is performed, and member communications are prepared on schedule.
• Develop and review business and functional requirements, defining primary project functions.
• Maintain timely communication with project staff and facilitate knowledge transfer of vendor technology.
• Document and coordinate product changes, preparing business/technical presentations.
• Evaluate business requests for feasibility, work with software engineers on alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions.
• Prepare overall project plans, incorporating costs and tasks to ensure successful implementation.
• Ensure methodology compliance, document issues, coordinate resolutions, and report to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst and in Project Management.
• Strong ability to communicate accurately throughout the project lifecycle.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
