About 7AI is the foundational AI security company, founded in 2024 by Cybereason co‑founders Lior Div and Yonatan Striem‑Amit. After emerging from stealth in February 2025, we tackle the non‑human work of the SOC with an AI‑native cloud platform that pairs a federated SIEM with AI agents for detection, investigation, response, and hunting, supported by dedicated threat‑hunting and intelligence teams. Backed by $166 million in funding, we are building the AI foundation for security operations in the agentic era. As a Senior Backend Engineer you will join the core engineering team at a pivotal stage, shaping the platform that powers our AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain the core data pipelines and processing platform for our AI‑native cloud platform.
• Build scalable, reliable solutions for complex cybersecurity use cases.
• Choose and implement the technologies and architectures the platform needs.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our cloud‑based services.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Hands‑on experience designing and building cloud systems.
• Strong software development skills with a bias toward shipping fast.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
