Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Portfolio Management will support the execution of Greystar’s strategies to drive financial and operational performance of its fund. This role involves gathering and analysing market, property and portfolio data, identifying improvement opportunities, and managing programs that enhance revenue and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update fund‑level models for portfolio revaluation, return metrics and scenario analysis.
• Design and prepare presentation materials for internal committees, institutional investors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and report financial and operational performance of fund assets, and implement asset‑level operational improvements.
• Conduct financial analysis of investment opportunities, including detailed pro‑forma and financial models.
• Gather, compile and analyse market data to identify potential investments and produce investment memoranda, reports and market summaries.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in real estate finance and/or investment banking; asset underwriting experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel financial modelling.
• PowerPoint presentation creation.
• Proficiency with AI systems, experience with Claude or ClaudeCode preferred.
