Senior AI Engineer

About the role

SevenAI is building the AI foundation for security operations, combining a federated SIEM with intelligent agents that detect, investigate, respond, and hunt. As a Senior AI Engineer you will shape the LLM‑powered core that powers these agents, ensuring they work reliably on real customer data.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build LLM‑powered retrieval workflows, context management, agent prompts and structured output pipelines.
• Orchestrate AI workflows with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex or Dust and integrate them with product APIs and backend services.
• Own prompt engineering, iterating on prompts, templates and context strategies to meet quality and reliability goals.
• Track real‑world metrics like usefulness, factual correctness, latency and user‑experience impact.
• Collaborate with product, platform and backend teams to ensure clean integration and production‑ready deployments.

Required profile

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1 year building AI in production.
• BS in Computer Science or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• Proven track record shipping LLM applications that deliver measurable product impact.

Required skills

• Strong Python programming.
• API design and backend integration.
• Database systems and cloud deployment.
• Retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
• Vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Workflow frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex or Dust.
• Design of multi‑modal and multi‑agent AI systems.
• Implementation of AI safety guardrails, hallucination mitigation and structured output enforcement.
