About the role
Crisler CPA is seeking a skilled Senior Accounting Associate to support business and nonprofit clients. The role involves supervising junior staff, handling engagements of basic to moderate complexity, and contributing to process‑improvement initiatives. You will report to the Client Accounting Services Manager and maintain regular client contact.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with gathering information from clients and coordinating with accounting staff and managers.
- Monitor and report on engagement status, maintaining communication with clients and supervisors.
- Prepare client invoices, manage accounts receivable/payable ledgers, and process payroll and tax deposits.
- Record transactions, prepare general ledgers, and review monthly reconciliations of bank and credit‑card accounts.
- Prepare annual wage and other information returns and support financial statement preparation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPA license or CPA‑candidate status strongly preferred.
- Minimum four years of recent accounting/bookkeeping experience.
- Experience in a CPA firm is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, communication and analytical abilities.
