Senior Accountant

About the role

Riverstone Logistics is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of its financial records. You will support month‑end and year‑end close processes, provide insightful analysis, and help guide strategic financial decisions for a fast‑growing, big‑and‑bulky logistics provider.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in month‑end and year‑end close, delivering timely and accurate financial statements.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP.
• Identify discrepancies, propose process improvements, and ensure strong internal controls.
• Analyze financial data to generate actionable insights for leadership.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support budgeting, forecasting, and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Detail‑oriented with a proactive mindset for identifying issues and driving improvements.
• Strong communicator able to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and internal control principles.
