Senior Accountant – Accounting & Reporting

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its U.S. Finance Team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role you will ensure the integrity of financial records and support month‑end and quarter‑end reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, post, verify, and reconcile financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and assist with quarterly balance‑sheet reviews.
• Review monthly federal tax journal entries and related financial‑statement schedules.
• Perform specialized research and independent analysis to improve processes and contribute to project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school + 10 years, associate + 6 years, M.S. + 0 years).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English.
• On‑site work location in Fort Worth, Texas; no travel or relocation required.
