About the role
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead sales and relationship management for public safety customers across Central Louisiana. You will drive strategic account planning, promote a broad portfolio of communications technology, software, and services, and help protect communities through innovative solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for target accounts and geographic territories.
- Coordinate internal and external resources to assess customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, influencing technology platform decisions and building loyalty to Motorola Solutions.
- Identify and pursue large‑scale project opportunities across the full product portfolio.
- Engage channel partners and executive sponsors to expand market reach and secure long‑term opportunities.
- Establish strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers in public safety agencies.
- Create procurement vehicles to streamline solution adoption across target accounts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of sales experience in public safety, or 8 years of sales experience without a degree requirement.
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer‑focused relationships.
- Self‑starter with a strong hunting mindset to generate new sales opportunities.
- Quick learner who can grasp product and solution characteristics and articulate their value.
