Semiconductor Power Component Architect – Silicon Carbide

About the role

The Semiconductor Power Component Architect will join Bosch's Silicon Carbide product release team in Roseville, CA. You will drive innovative power‑device development for automotive applications, coordinating release activities for bare‑die and discrete SiC products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage chip specifications, data analysis, and release documentation for SiC power devices.
• Plan and coordinate verification and validation testing during the engineering phase.
• Define series‑testing concepts to ensure device performance over production life.
• Support post‑release development, root‑cause analysis of failures, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong background in semiconductor physics and manufacturing.
• Proven ability to perform statistical data analysis and interpret results.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to documentation, formal procedures, and good engineering practices.
