Scheduling Coordinator – ABC Endoscopy & Imaging

About the role

The Scheduling Coordinator supports the ABC Endoscopy & Imaging department by managing patient appointments, coordinating procedure times, and ensuring smooth daily operations within a busy clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and confirm endoscopy and imaging appointments for patients.
• Maintain and update the department’s scheduling system to reflect real‑time availability.
• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate procedure logistics.
• Monitor patient flow and adjust schedules to minimize wait times and optimize resource use.
• Ensure compliance with departmental policies and patient confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in health administration is a plus.
• Prior experience in medical or clinical scheduling, preferably in imaging or endoscopy services.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment.
