SAP Technical Lead

About the role

We are a well‑funded AI‑focused startup in the San Francisco Bay Area, backed by tier‑1 investors and former SAP executives. As a SAP Technical Lead you will shape the architecture and standards for our SAP‑AI platform while delivering end‑to‑end solutions for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce architecture, design standards, and delivery processes for SAP solutions.
• Lead core platform design, engineering, and hands‑on, customer‑facing implementation.
• Drive S/4HANA migration projects and integrate RAP/OData services.
• Collaborate with product and AI teams to embed intelligent features into SAP development, testing, and support.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on SAP engineering (most leads have 6–10 years).
• Strong ABAP, ABAP OO, and modern ABAP expertise.
• Experience with S/4HANA migration, RAP, OData, and NetWeaver fundamentals.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, CAP on Node.js, XSUAA, Destinations, and Fiori.
• Ability to translate business workflows into scalable, secure systems.
• Proactive ownership, clear communication, and comfort making decisions with incomplete information.
