About the role
We are a leading company in the beer, wine and spirits sector seeking a Sales Representative to manage chain accounts in the Sacramento East area. The role involves building strong relationships with customers, promoting supplier brands, and achieving sales targets while representing our fun, family‑based culture.
Key responsibilities
- Visit and service chain accounts on a planned daily route, conducting surveys and ensuring compliance with national account standards.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, introducing new products, managing back‑bar placements, and coordinating promotions.
- Maintain product inventory levels, restock shelves where legally permissible, and conduct staff training on priority brands.
- Process credits, returns, and aged receivables, and collect payments where allowed.
- Achieve distribution, volume, and activity goals for supplier brands as set by management.
- Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager on opening orders for new accounts and support account openings.
Required profile
- Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for traveling to customer locations.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work in a fast‑paced selling environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present brand information effectively.
