Sales Manager – Austin

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our Austin sales team at Smart City Locating. The role combines revenue ownership, people development, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Own revenue, growth, profitability and key performance indicators such as close rate, leases, and leads for the Austin market.
• Recruit, train, coach and manage a team of sales agents, set goals, conduct performance reviews and handle compensation planning.
• Collaborate with Property Success Managers and Marketing to secure contracts, generate qualified leads and promote brand awareness.
• Maintain a 5‑star client and agent experience across Google, Yelp and Glassdoor, and handle escalations promptly.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience with a proven track record of success.
• Experience in client‑facing roles such as sales, customer service, hospitality or retail is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets).
• Strong ability to work with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience using a CRM platform.
• Familiarity with Mac OSX and iPhone iOS for business purposes.
