Resident Maintenance Tech 3

About the role

The Electro‑Mechanical Tech Level III is responsible for day‑to‑day fault resolution, equipment troubleshooting, preventative and predictive maintenance, and systems operations on material handling equipment at the Fishkill location.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain material handling equipment, including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, document work, and close work orders in the asset management system.
• Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot circuitry and resolve semi‑complex problems.
• Respond to service calls, address equipment failures, and supervise spare parts inventory.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or technical training is a plus.
• 2‑3 years of experience troubleshooting electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand/walk 10‑12 hours, and work in diverse conditions (dust, noise, extreme temperatures).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google G‑Suite.
• Experience using electrical test equipment and asset management systems.
