Research & Development Leadership Development Program – Summer 2027 Internship

About the role

The RDLDP Summer 2027 Internship offers engineering graduate students a 12‑week, hands‑on experience across Johnson & Johnson MedTech R&D platforms. Interns will rotate through projects, receive classroom training, and work alongside senior R&D leaders to develop innovative medical technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in cross‑functional R&D projects, contributing to prototype design, testing, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify AI and IoT opportunities, evaluate feasibility, and accelerate adoption of new tools.

Required profile

• Current graduate student in an engineering program, on track to earn a master’s degree by June 2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.3, with demonstrated leadership experience and prior R&D internship experience at Johnson & Johnson preferred.

Required skills

• Machine learning, deep learning, IoT, embedded software.
• Prototyping, robot design, systems reliability, firmware, hardware integration.
