Remote Registered Nurse – AI Annotation (up to $65/hr)

About the role

Mercor is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to work remotely on AI‑driven clinical annotation projects. You will evaluate and improve AI‑generated nursing documentation, ensuring it meets current clinical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate AI‑generated clinical outputs against nursing flowsheet documentation.
• Annotate and structure inpatient nursing assessment data for AI training datasets.
• Provide expert feedback on nursing assessments and documentation practices.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in AI‑generated responses.
• Collaborate with technical teams to enhance model performance.

Required profile

• Active RN license in the U.S. (excluding California).
• Recent adult acute‑care inpatient bedside experience (within the last 5–10 years).
• Comfortable performing comprehensive nursing assessments and following detailed annotation guidelines.
• Excellent written communication and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Epic EHR experience (preferred).
• Proficiency with annotation tools and web‑based platforms.
• Ability to navigate transcripts and use AI‑assisted tools.
• Experience with chart abstraction, quality improvement, utilization review, CDI, or clinical informatics.
