About the role

We are looking for a Remote Medical Office Manager to streamline administrative workflows for healthcare providers. The specialist will work independently, improving patient access, prior authorizations, and revenue cycle processes while collaborating with payer and provider teams.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and redesign front‑end operations and patient access workflows.
• Design and implement efficient prior‑authorization and utilization support processes.
• Review, submit, and resolve claims and revenue‑cycle activities.
• Develop strategies for remittance and payment posting aligned with clinical charges.
• Collaborate with provider and payer operations to improve credentialing and enrollment.
• Manage health‑information and practice‑administration tasks asynchronously.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in a healthcare administrative or back‑office role.
• Current employment in a U.S. healthcare administrative position.
• Experience working with payer portals and EHR/practice‑management systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with payer portals such as Availity, Optum/Change Healthcare, Waystar, Office Ally, UHC Link, BCBS, Aetna.
• Experience using EHR and practice‑management platforms and clearinghouses.
